Title IX and Mutual Respect

Title IX’s sex discrimination prohibition protects against sexual harassment and sexual violence and extends to claims of discrimination based on gender identity or failure to conform to stereotypical notions of masculinity or femininity.  Should you disclose such experiences to me, I am obligated to report this to SUU’s title IX’s office. This is in effort to protect you. Beyond this, I will keep what you disclose confidential.

You are welcome and encouraged to present your views in so long as they are presented in a courteous and respectful manner. "No one should be judged, least they be judged themselves." If you disagree with a statement that is made, call attention to the flaws associated with the statement, NOT the person who made the statement.
